• WIFFA Qingdao – Shanghai mutal visits successfully completed  2012-04-11

• “What I can do for Qingdao/Shanghai, what Qingdao/Shanghai can do for me” Matchmaking Symposium has successfully completed in Qingdao on April 8th- 9th. Today’s meeting is a revisiting meeting after WIFFA QingTao visited WIFFA Shanghai on 2ed of March, there are a total of more than 40 people participated in the matchmaking symposium.

• WIFFA (Qing Dao ---Shang Hai) Business Connecting Meeting Successfully Held in March 1st  2012-03-05

•       The 2012 WIFFA (Qing Dao ---Shang Hai) Business Connecting Meeting was held in March 1 in Shanghai Meishe International Freight Co., LTD. More than 50 people from member companies of Qingdao and Shanghai ports attended the meeting. This connecting meeting is the second ports connecting meeting following the Feb. 20 WIFFA (Xia Men---Ning Bo) 
    
          In the connecting meeting, Chairman of WIFFA Qingdao Port and General Manager of Worldex Logistics Qingdao Co. Ltd Yao Su introduced Qingdao port’s features in space booking, loading, and customs declaration procedures on the behalf of Qingdao Port so that Shanghai Port knows more clearly about the present situation of Qingdao Port. Deputy Secretary of WIFFA Shanghai Port Xue Baohua also introduced the development of Shanghai freight forwarding market in recent years. WIFFA Qingdao and Shanghai member companies made presentations on their business features and had one-to-one communications. Other important topics such as the way of payment and credit guarantee had also been discussed in detail in the meeting.
           WIFFA Shanghai Port Chairman, President of Meishe International Freight Ge Shangen expressed  in the meeting that WIFFA Shanghai Port will have more extensive ways of cooperation so that each port’s members would work together and foster a cooperation mechanism of mutual benefits.

• WIFFA First Presidium Meeting in Shanghai  2012-03-10

•      WIFFA First Presidiim Meeting was held in ShangHai on March 2, 2012. Meeting was taking place in Shanghai Amass Freight Int’l Co., Ltd. Chairman of the rotating president, Chairman and Vice Chair man of eight ports, some Deputy Secretary-Generals attended the meeting.
       The meeing presided by Chairman of He ZhuAn, port chairman suggested and discussed the following main content:
  Due to Wiffa has various crossing charge, the amount is not unity, is not conducive to WIFFA over image. WIFFA has decided WIFFA member fees has to paid to chairman of individual port,unified by the headquaters of secretariat,fees will be used on port organisation activities and WIFFA port assistant’s wages.
        In order to ensure WIFFA various ports members of service is more in-depth and smooth, WIFFA is going to have a WIFFA assistant in each eight maojor ports and coordinating the activities of individual port.
       Establish WIFFA members cooperative credit mechanism, WIFFA member can voluntarily purchase insurance valued USD2,000 from WIFFA Service Center annually. If there is any bad debt, the member of WIFFA enjoys the highest guaranteed amount at USD50, 000 each year accumulatively. All cooperation recorded on WIFFA trading platform.
       The meeting also discussed the feasibility of establishment of eight port inland branch; further development of overseas agents,planning of principles for overseas organisations.

• WIFFA Secretariat will organize a WIFFA members team to Taiwan for business visit from the end of March to the beginning of April 2012. • The Upcoming 1st Annual Conference of WIFFA  2011-09-28

• WIFFA’s 1st Annual Conference will be held in November 2011 at Pudong Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai. Up to present, over 60 members from overseas and 200 members from domestic have confirmed to attend. Except focus forum, one-to-one meeting, this conference will establish WIFFA branch offices and internal Communication Center and Business Center. • WIFFA Port Chairman Election  2011-07-29

• WIFFA Council Expanding Meeting was held in Dalian on July 9th, 2011. In the meeting, the latest organization structure was produced and Mr. HE Zhu An, GM of Ning Bo Huan Ji International Freight Forwarder Co., Ltd., was voted as the 1st WIFFA Rotation President. Vice Rotation Presidents, who would be in charge of regional ports were also announced in the meeting. Election of WIFFA Branch Presents is under processing. They are classified by FCL, CLC, bulk and airfreight etc. Self recommendation or recommendation of others is welcome. The main election standards are powerful, creditworthy and willing to serve other members.

• WIFFA Freight Wholesaler Committee Member Meeting Held – To Expand WIFFA Members  2011-07-15

• WIFFA Freight Wholesaler Committee Member Meeting was held on July 9, 2011 at Dalian. The updated WIFFA structure and work plan of 2011 were tentatively confirmed. Chairmen’s meeting and individual item discussing meeting are still in processing. Final confirmation will be announced on July 20, 2011.

• There are more banks joined to FCU and Freight-Pay services recently. Except Hua Xia Bank, who has already one of our cooperate banks, head office of the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China, Shanghai Pudong Development Bank and Shenzhen Development Bank all submitted their letters of intent. •      After 3 months planning and designing work, WIFFA shipping mart system is getting into the final test stage, it is estimated that the system will be activated in the end of March. Once it is activated online, the registered member of WIFFA and ship owners’ contractors would be able to dealing with each other through the online system. Then domestic registered members and oversea registered members can be connected on the basis of their different needs and advantages.
